Forbrain & Soundsory for Autism: Improving Focus, Language, and Sensory Abilities
"Today marks the completion of day 7 of the Soundsory listening program, and Alex has had no trouble keeping his headphones on throughout each session. He seems to enjoy the music and even puts the headphones on himself. I've noticed significant progress in his understanding—he's repeating more words and is noticeably calmer, no longer running away."
– Julia, mother of a 7-year-old autistic child
"While working with autistic children who have difficulty with language, I find that combining the vestibular input from my swings with Forbrain helps them connect more with their voice. I notice increased vocalizations and more attempts at language."
– Kara, Occupational Therapist
Forbrain is an advanced voice feedback device designed to strengthen attention, language processing, and cognitive functions. Using bone conduction technology and a dynamic filter, it helps individuals with autism enhance focus, speech, and auditory processing skills.
How to Use
Incorporate Forbrain into your daily routine by spending 10–20 minutes speaking, singing, or reading aloud from homework or books. Use it independently or connect a secondary microphone for guided sessions with a tutor, therapist, or parent.
Forbrain improves speech clarity by enhancing auditory feedback, allowing individuals to hear their own voice more accurately, which in turn strengthens pronunciation, fluency, and articulation.
Forbrain enhances attention by utilizing bone conduction and a dynamic filter to improve auditory processing, helping individuals with autism stay focused and engaged.
Forbrain supports language and learning development by reinforcing auditory processing, improving verbal memory, and enhancing speech fluency, making it easier to acquire and retain new language skills.
We have been using Forbrain with Garrett for the past 6 weeks, and the improvement in his confidence, enunciation, and reading skills has been remarkable. Before using Forbrain, Garrett had very little in terms of pronunciation and enunciation skills. The most noticeable change is how he enunciates his words while using the Forbrain unit. His words are becoming clearer and no longer run together into one large word.
- Mother of Garrett, a boy with Autism
It has helped a 4-year-old boy who struggles with getting out of his head. As a result, he has difficulty refocusing on what the teacher or his peers are saying because he's busy creating stories in his mind. With the use of the Forbrain headphones, this boy can easily switch back and forth between topics and focus on what his peers and teachers are telling him. He has also been able to sit more calmly during circle time.
- Miriam Manela (OT and Author of The Parent-Child Dance)
Forbrain definitely helps people remember, stay in tune, and gain a much better sense of self-confidence through regular use! It was very interesting to use, and it makes your voice really penetrate your nervous system, giving you a powerful feeling when speaking. It also seems to increase awareness because of its strong feedback. You gain an amazing sense of your own voice!

Soundsory is a home-based music and movement program designed to improve sensory integration, motor coordination, and emotional regulation in individuals with autism. Using neuro-acoustic stimulation, Soundsory helps users process sensory inputs more effectively, reducing hypersensitivity and promoting overall well-being.
How to Use
The program includes specially designed musical pieces with neuro-acoustic modifications, along with a series of videos featuring movement exercises. It is spread over 40 days, with 30 minutes dedicated to the program each day.
Soundsory helps enhance sensory processing and motor skills by regulating sensory overload and improving body awareness. Its rhythmic movement exercises improve coordination and balance, making it easier for individuals to process sensory input and move with greater control and confidence.
Soundsory enhances emotional regulation by reducing anxiety, promoting resilience, and supporting self-soothing. Its music and movement exercises encourage relaxation and improve sensory processing, helping individuals develop a greater sense of control and stability.
Soundsory improves cognitive and social skills by stimulating neural pathways related to language and communication. The program enhances the brain’s ability to process and interpret sounds, leading to better speech clarity, listening comprehension, and social interactions.
The Soundsory headphones can also be used as regular Bluetooth headphones, connecting to any Bluetooth device. I knew these would get a lot of use! Mr. B and Princess J enjoyed listening to the music, and we found ourselves using them before starting our schoolwork because **it seemed to help both kids focus and attend to tasks much better. It’s almost as if Soundsory prepared their brains to learn and process!** Overall, we are VERY pleased with Soundsory. I am truly impressed by the improvement in attention I’ve seen in both children.
- Missica, mother to two autistic boys
My youngest daughter, who has some mild sensory issues, used the Soundsory program. **After using it for a few weeks, I noticed she was more relaxed and less bothered by sensory stimuli than usual. It’s wonderful to see her enjoying normal activities without getting distressed like she often does. This is a big improvement!** If you have a child with special needs who attends sensory integration therapy or any therapy addressing cognitive or motor delays, the Soundsory program is definitely worth trying. It’s much more convenient to do therapy at home.
- Heidi, mother to two girls with sensory difficulties
The program is built into a set of high-quality wireless headphones that are very light and comfortable. My boys and I used them and were very happy with how they fit. Soundsory uses music and exercise to help rewire and organize the brain. Since the headphones can also be synced through Bluetooth with an iPhone, we reward Zakari at the end by letting him pick one of his favorite songs to listen to when his 30-minute therapy session is over. **Soundsory uses neuroplasticity to help kids like my son become less sensitive to noises.**
- Monique, mother to two boys with sensory sensitivities
Forbrain and Soundsory work together to offer a holistic approach for individuals with autism. While Forbrain enhances attention, language, and cognitive processing, Soundsory aids in sensory integration and emotional regulation. Combined, they provide a comprehensive solution to improve daily functioning and communication skills.
